On Wednesday, 12th February 2025, TWC members and friends gathered at the renowned Mandarin Kitchen in London for our highly anticipated annual Lunar New Year Lunch. It was a honour to be joined by our Patrons and Representatives from Nepal, Indonesia and Mongolia, President Lady Doris and Vice President Celia. This beloved tradition brought together familiar faces and new friends alike to celebrate the Year of the Wooden Snake in style. The Wooden Snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and ambition, set the tone for the festivities. It represents a year of growth, resourcefulness, and adaptability—qualities we hope will inspire us all throughout 2025.
The day was filled with joy, laughter, and, of course, incredible food! Mandarin Kitchen treated us to a delectable feast of traditional dishes, each one a celebration of flavour and culture. One of the highlights was the legendary TWC raffle, always a crowd favourite. With exciting prizes up for grabs, the raffle brought even more cheer to an already festive afternoon. It was heartwarming to see so many attendees dressed in vibrant shades of red, a colour symbolising good fortune and joy. A special thank you to Lamees, Alex and the incredible team at Mandarin Kitchen for their warm hospitality. We also appreciate everyone who joined us this year! Your presence and enthusiasm made the event a true success. We’re already looking forward to next year’s celebrations and the memories we’ll create together. May 2025 bring you wisdom, transformation, and success in all your endeavours.
