This film was premiered in London a couple of years ago, but very few membeers had a chnce to see it. Another opportunity was offered at The RAG in the Autumn of 2017. Shonah Bose, who directed the film, is a cousin of Malini Chib of ADAPT and, though it was not based on Malini’s life, this was certainly the inspiration. It recounts the struggles of a young women with cerepral palsy to come to terms with her disabilitiesis, explore relationships, enjoy the freedom of living in NY. There is interplay with her famly and some role reversal when her mother falls terminally ill. A very movning film.
