Annual Christmas Lunch

Once again our Annual Christmas Lunch was held at the National Liberal Club in the David Lloyd George Room and thanks go to Ruth Whitehouse for her sponsorship and to Gerda Pope for arranging the event and making the table look so Christmassy! The entertainment provided last year by two opera singers was so successful that we invited them to a return visit. This time the tenor whom we met last year was joined by a soprano and this combination meant a change of arias; they didn’t disappoint. We were pleased to welcome members of the FIWAL and the Overseas Women’s Club as well as the Chairman of the Georgia branch of ESU.
