The 3rd Konooz Fine Art Auction was held in the gracious surroundings of the Lanesborough Hotel at Hyde Park Corner. Before the Auction guests had an opportunity to view the many paintings on auction, all by artists from the Middle East and of many different styles. The first part of the auction was of five paintings generously donated to five charities, of which TWC was one. The one allocated to us was of a horse’s head by Ahmed Kadhum of Iraq and donated by Mrs Asma Al-Mana to whom we are very grateful. We are also grateful to Zainab Al Farhan Al Imam for including us in this prestigious event.
