The Reports of activities, financial and social, showed 2016 to have been a good year in all respects. There had been a varied programme of events, organised by Mrs Pope, and tribute was paid to the Patrons and members for their support in very many ways. The contribution from Patrons had been particularly significant and had played a great part in the Council’s ability to meet the costs of the CII Course. Dr Moore, the Hon Training Adviser, gave a visual presentation of the activities of the 20 participants on the 2017 CII Course which had been completed recently. She said the group, from several different countries, had worked particularly well together, helping and supporting each other as the Course progressed.
