On a lovely afternoon in March, TWC members, guests and patrons were invited to The River Room at the House of Lords by TWC Patron Baroness Angela Browning. After an update about the two courses supported by TWC accompanied by an informative video, guests enjoyed lunch, made acquaintances and exchanged ideas in the lovely surrounds of the River Room. The River Room is a special venue, with utilisation at the discretion of the Lord’s speaker and is available to use for charity events, so TWC was over the moon to have an event here!
The room boasts tall ceilings, beautiful stain glasses windows, baroque walls adorned with large mirrors and paintings. It was a regal afternoon, with wonderful company.
