The Joint Commonwealth Organisation (JCO) annual event is a highlight in the calendar!
The JCO is a collaboration of six charities including The Women’s Council, The Victoria League, Commonwealth Countries League, Commonwealth Girls Education Fund, Corona WorldWide and The Royal Commonwealth Society. Having launched in March 2015, its aim is to establish close ties between members of the charities through friendship, events and charitable work.
The JCO Spring Event this year, saw charity representatives and friends enjoy a boat trip from Westminster Pier to Kew, London. Despite the dismal British Spring, there was a jovial atmosphere on the boat. The boat trip was followed by a lovely lunch at The Greyhound Pub with delicious food and very welcoming service. The day provided a wonderful opportunity to relax and chat with many friendly guests from the six organisations.
